We are travelling to Philippines from Auckland New Zealand transitting in Shanghai. Our lay over per

Our lay over period is 18 hours. Being a holder of Philippine passport, can we explore Shanghai?

Keng, after transiting in Shanghai for 18 hours, if you will fly to a third country or region instead of New Zealand, you will be eligible for the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, and then you can apply for a free temporary stay permit inside the airport to explore the city.
