About:Macau Visa Policy

Good day! I want to visit my girlfriend who is Japanese working in Macau. Please help.

Could you please help me with my situation. I am a citizen of Kazakhstan and I want to plan my travel from Almaty to Macau through Hong Kong. (there are no direct flights from Almaty-Macau). How can I arrange visas traveling this two cities? I have been to Macau before and had a visitor visa for 30 days. Could you please tell me the situation. Thank you very much.

You need to apply for two separate visas for HK and Macau respectively.
You should first prepare those documents: copy of your passport, a completed application form, a passport-sized color photo, proof of your financial support, flight itinerary, accommodation arrangement and an invitation letter from your girlfriend.
Next, prepare two applications and submit them to the embassy of China to apply.

Thank you very much, Zoe. But on the same website, it is written that for Hong Kong the citizens of Kazakhstan don't have to do visa up to 14 days. Do you think I still have to apply for visa in advance even if my stay won't exceed this time period? if it's ok. Could you tell me if I could obtain Macau visa upon arrival to Macau through Hong Kong or should I do it in advance? Thank you very much for your time and answers!

Dear, I’m so sorry. It is my fault. You are right. Kazakhstan passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not exceeding 14 days.
It is possible for you to get Macau visa when you arrive there.

Thank you very much, Zoe! I needed that confirm. Yet, could you tell me if there are any required documents I should have at the border before entering Macau from Hong Kong? Last time I only had to show my return ticket, but it was from Macau airport.
thank you very much. Have a wonderful day!!!
