Hello, I live in Hong Kong and want my Lebanese mom to visit me.

Can she obtain a Hong Kong visa at the Chinese Embassy in Lebanon? How long does it take and what documents would she need? Thank you in advance. Marianne

Marianne, yes, she can. If she wants to apply for a tourist visa, she needs to provide copy of your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, proof of financial support, flight itinerary, accommodation arrangement, and an invitation letter from you. Next, you can submit the application to HK immigration department to apply for HK visa on her behalf.
