where's the best areas to live in dalian in terms of overall peace, quiet, comfort &

I'm from Canada moving to DL to teach English for a year. Just looking for a nice place to live. Something newer/similar to home with public transportation nearby to city centre. Your response (s) will be greatly appreciated.... Thanks!

Ali, you are suggested to live around Xinghai Square. Not far from the sea, you can enjoy beautiful seascape and fresh air there. Besides, two subway stations (Fuguo Street, Convention & Exhibition Center) are located in this area. The transportation is also very convenient.May help!
