About:China Student Visa

Hello, i'm currently in shanghai for tourism with a L type for two entrance

and I'm going to end my first month, so I need to go out but I'm trying to know where should I go. Actually I want to make a X2 type to study in easy mandarin precisely, I planned to go to HK to make but easy mandarin told me they don't advice HK to make. I made some research on internet and they say need to have a HK resident permit ?! So where should I go to make this visa without moving so far from China. Which are all the documents to bring also ? Could I even make it out in shanghAi (psb or smth like this ? )
Thank u for answer

Chris, usually, if you don’t have HK residence permit, it is not easy for you to make the application from there.
You can just go to the exit and entry administration of the local PSB in Shanghai to try to convert the L type to X2 type. You need to provide your passport, valid registration form of temporary residence, the application form, a passport-style photo, the admission letter from the school, and JW form.
