taking train from guangzhou to hk

Question

Hello I am taking the ride and when it arrives in HK does it arrive an an MTR station?  I need to get the MTR to Jordan stop.  Or could I take a taxi is it very far from where train stops to my hotel on Nathan Road?  Also can I buy my octopus card at the station in HK? No need to purchase before I get there is there?and I will need HK money I assume there is an atm in the railway station.Thank you SO much for your help.

It stop at Hung Hom station, a different building but nearby the MTR station. If your hotel located on Nathan Road, it is not far away, should be within 3km. You can buy the card directly at the MTR station in HK.
