Hi, is there any train from Kunming direct to Shangri-La? I'm now referring to Travel China Guide website to get info and rail ticket booking for this upcoming Sept trip. Is this the best reference or would you recommend any other website for booking?

In fact, Shangri-La does do offer rail service yet which means there are one two ways for transfer now: bus or flight. You may choose bus or flight for both part of the trip.

Duly noted.tqvm Justin.ok I've another question.I wonder how to get around Kunming/Lijiang/Shangri-La?Could you recommend the best transportation mode,which transporation hub should we go,or any shuttle bus/train to go around these places?tq in advance dude

You may try to go by rail from Kunming to Lijiang, then bus to Shangri-La and finally flight back to Kunming.
