Hello,and I wanted to visit a family member who is also student in (shenyang) China. What are the requirements I need to fulfill to get visa for  1 week stay? and Do I need to show a bank deposit?

Mulgeta, you can apply for a tourist L type for China to visit your family member. First, prepare the application form, a passport-sized bareheaded color photo, your passport and copy of its data page, your residence permit in Korea, and an invitation letter from your family member. Next, go to the CVASC to submit the application.
