72 hour transit lowcost airlines problems.

Hello, I am aware about 72 transit rule. However I have been reading online that some low cost airlines like Air Asia for example refuse to board passengers on the plane even when they show them tickets proving the third country transit. Do you know if there are really problems with budget airlines when it comes to 72 hour transit?

Oh, the problem rarely happens. As long as you are eligible for the 72h visa-free transit with booking through tickets in advance, the airlines have no right to refuse your boarding. Anyway, the only possibility is that the airlines may be not clear about the policy. So you'd better consult the details in advance.
