About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

My husband and I are doing a cruise from singapore to shanghai.

We arrive in china 13.00 on 4/4/17 and depart
11.00 on 5/4/17 then arrive shanghai 07.00 9//4/17 then stay one night and fly back to Australia 4.50pm .
Could you please tell me what type of visa would be needed for this trip. We are very confused as everyone tells us something different. Many thanks Vicki and Colin.

Vicki, I think you need to get a double-entry transit G type for this trip. You can confirm this with the consular officer.
