About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Guangzhou to Melbourne, Australia

My flight number from Toronto is CZ 312
My flight number to Melbourne is CZ 343

When I arrive from Toronto at baiyun airport please let me know which gates I need to go to and what are other procedures/paperwork I may need to do.

Hi, there is no way to know which gate you should walk to, because the arangement may change. Anyway, after landing, the signages are quite clear to find your way. Generally, here are the procedures:
Arriving - Qurantine & Inspection - Transfer Desk & Immigration - Customs Check on 2F - International Departure Hall on 3F - Checking the boarding gate - Waiting and Boarding

It should be noted that you don't need to reclaim your luggage. Just show the luggage tag receipt at the transfer desk and the staff will arrange for you.
