About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying US to Shaghai Pudong accompaning friend who is there for business.

We arrive Saturday evening February 24, 7:30 PM and are staying at a Shanghai Hotel for 5 nights. We will fly Shaghai to Singapore Thursday morning March 2. Our return flight to US leaves Singapore March 11 and has a connection in Guangzhou China with a 2 hour layover. Can I travel using the 144 hour visa free transit program?

Framl, based on what you said, you will be eligible for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai, and the 24 hour direct transit in Guangzhou. Nice trip.
