i have a candian passportwill be doing a connection flight in xiamen

Im reading Passengers transiting in Beijing, Chongqing, Harbin, Guilin, Kunming, Wuhan, Xiamen, or Tianjin cannot leave the administrative area of the transit city.What they mean I can't leave the adminstrative area of the transit city?     so I cannot leave the airport??  just wantt to make sure if i can do the 72 VISA free stay.Thanks!

Ken, if you travel like country A-Xiamen (72 hours)-country B, you will be eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Xiamen. It means that you can travel around the whole Xiamen city, but you cannot leave for other places from Xiamen within the 72 hours.
