travel duration from airport to qianmen

I will arrive in PEK T3 at 12 in the afternoon. Is it possible to reach Forbidden City before 2pm? Whats the best way? Is there a locker room or left luggage at Forbidden City? Thanks in advance

You can take airport express to Dongzhimen, transfer to subway line 2 to Jianguomen and then change to line 1; use Exit A of Tiananmen East Station and walk northwards through the Tiananmen Tower, you will reach the entrance of the Forbidden City. The whole trip takes less than 1h. You have a large chance to arrive there at around 2pm.There are left-luggage office at the tourist service center. You can deposit your bags there.
