I was hoping to go to the mountain from Leshan after viewing the Buddha in the morning.

And taking the cable car to the top. Sleeping in a monastery at the summit and hiking back down in one day the next day after watching the sunrise. I will be doing this next week in January. Is this possible and what should I be aware of or how should I accomplish this?
