About:Visa Policy of China

We are flying to Hong Kong from Melbourne in April 2017

and staying there for 5 days before going on a cruise from Hong Kong to Japan. During the cruise we are stopping in Shanghai for one day. Do we need a visa?

Peter, if the cruise travels like country A –Shanghai (one day)-country B, you may be able to use the 24 hour direc transit in Shanghai, and then no visa will be required.
