About:Guangzhou Metro Line 3

Is the Guangzhou Metro open late on New Years Eve?

I want to go from Panyu to Canton Tower(Line 3) for the activities and return about 1AM

The metro lines will operate on New Year's Eve. But I heard the trains may just pass by the Canton Tower Station and won't stop at that station. You may need to alight at Kecun and then walk to the tower.
Make sure you leave the tower before 00:30 to catch the last train back to Panyu.
