About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

If I arrive in Shanghai from Auckland, can I fly within 72 hours with no visa on to Hong Kong?

I assume Hong Kong does not count as China?

Vicky, if you travel like Auckland-Shanghai (72 hours)-HK, you can enjoy 72 hour free transit in Shanghai.
