What I Can Bring to China?

I am a US citizen and I am visiting Chongqing (from LAX to PVG). Then, I will fly to the Philippines. I have some gifts to bring to my friends in both countries - 3 boxes of See's Candies, 4 small bottles of organic honey, two small packets of Starbucks, 4 small bags of chocoloates, and a box of tea. They will be in my luggage that I am planning to check-in (not hand carried). Since this is my first time traveling to China, my question is: Are they very strict at the customs - is there a limit as to how many bottles of honey I can bring. This is what my friend is expecting from me. I am flying Monday, Dec. 26th and I am packing now. I would greatly appreciate your response. Thank you so much.
