About:FAQ on China Postal Service

Same message three times about my package

On three different dates in December (13th, 16th, and 19th) the tracking says: "Departure from outward office of exchange," and is associated with the same postal location. So I guess "departure" really does not mean "departure," or is there something about the the postal service in Shanghai that I don't understand?

Hi, dear! "Departure from outward office of exchange" means that the parcel is ready for customs scan. It usually takes 2 to 10 days. Just be patinet! Don't worry! :)
