About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72hour transit shanghai

Hi.
I am a french citizen, living in the US ( green card) .
I am thinking going to Shanghai for 3 days. Do i need to apply for a tourist visa at the embassy or can i use the 72 hour free transit program ?

Aymeric, if you travel like country A-Shanghai (72 hours)-country B, you can enjoy the 72 hour free transit in Shanghai, and then no visa will be needed.
