About:China Visa Exemption

London to Bangkok via Beijing

Hi,
I'm permanent UK resident and my nationality is Pakistan.
I'm traveling from LONDON to Bangkok but on return flight (Bangkok to London), my stop over is 8 hours at Beijing airport.
Do I need visa If i want to leave the terminal and have quick view of city for 5 hours ?

Zahid, you don’t need it because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. After arrival, you need to apply for a temporary residence permit which is free of charge and then you can leave the airport to the city for a quick view.
