Mt. Huashan Bringing Gear and Weather In March

I'm going to Xi'an in March and will be there for a few days. I wanted to do the plank walk on the South peak but am worried about the weather. Will the mountain be to cold to hike? Also what should I bring for gear to climb the mountain? A backpack, obviously but is there a place to store it while doing the plank walk?

It is still a bit cold in March, especially on the mountain, but you may not feel cold when you climb the mountain, I would suggest you take some heavy clothes to keep warm if you stay overnight on the mountain. To hike the mountain, you should prepare some foods and water as the foods there are very expensive, besides, a pair of gloves and comfortable sport shoes are also necessary. If you stay overnight, you can take a flashlight and a thick coat. As for the plank walk, there is a place to store your backpack nearby, but remember to keep your valuables with you.
