Gear rentals at Huashan

I've noticed in several pictures that people are using dual carabiners and harnesses at the more intimidating passes. Can i rent such gear nearby or do I need a guide?

Dear Tim, you can rent such gears at the thrilling spots, like the Plank Road. The rental fee is CNY 30 for each person. Take care and have fun! :)
