Marrying a Chinese citizen, how?

My girlfriend is from China and I am from Malaysia. I have plans to marry her and settle in China. What are the steps and fees to achieve this? I have never settled in china before.

You can apply for a Chinese tourist L type to China to register your marriage there. A tourist L type will cost you 88.3 ringgits.
After entering China and get married, you can try to convert the tourist L type to a Q1 type, and it will cost CNY168. After, you can apply for a temporary residence permit for a year (less than one year) to settle in China, it will cost CNY400 per person.
