Can I obtain two 72 hour transit visas within a 2 week period?

I arrive in Guangzhou 5pm Monday 26th December, departing Tuesday 27th December for Paris, then upon return from Paris arrive in Guangzhou 6pm Friday 6th January, departing Guanzhou 9pm Saturday 7th January.

Can I apply for 2 separate 72 hour free transit to leave the airport within this timeframe?
