About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fiji to Shanghai. Shanghai to Amsterdam

Im travelling from Fiji to Shanghai with layover in Sydney. Arrive in Shanghai on 3/8/17. And then depart Shanghai to Amsterdam on 3/11/17. Is a travel visa necessary of do i qualify for the 72 hour transit exemption?
