About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

68 hours trip to Shanghai

I was hoping to visit Shanghai for less than 3 days, flying to PVG from the USA and leaving from the same airport PVG to LAX, will I still need to apply for a regular visa?

Dude that is NOT transit at all and you must apply for a tourist L type .
