About:China Work Visa

Good day Sir, I'm a Cameroonian presently using a student visa X1, in China

I've gotten a job and my school im to teach in has given me all the documents require for a Z type, must i go to my home country to change my x to z , or can i go to a nearby country and change the status, or can i still change in China without exit, I live in hubei province( wuhan)

Actually, you can try to convert the student X type to a work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can be done, you don’t need to go back to your home country to do that.
