About:Dual Nationality

My wife is a Chinese National but born in the Philippines to both parents of Chinese Nationality.

How can she apply for a hukou or ID Card? She never took oath under the Philippines so she carries a Chinese Passport but without ID Card.

Take her family's hukou and her birth certificate to local police station. After a few procedure, she can have her ID card.

Yes, she can choose to register on her mother's side.

Actually if the fathers side is foreign, she can only register on her mothers side.
