About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I will be arriving on a cruise ship in Shanghai on the 9th of March 2017 with my wife

and stopping in a Shanghai hotel that night and catching a flight from Shanghai Airport on the 10th at about 9pm back to Sydney Australia. I assume I do not need a visa. Is that correct? Thank you

John, if the last country you come from by cruise ship is not Australia, you can enjoy free transit in Shanghai, and then no visa will be needed.
