About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I qualify for 72 hour visa waiver ?

I land in Beijing Saturday 27th may at 0850 and depart for Vietnam Tuesday 30th May at 1550. I am a UK passport holder. Can you please confirm if I qualify for the 72 hour via waiver ? Beijing airport (via email say I do not) and yet according to the summary on your website I do. Can you please help ?

If Beijing airport says no then you cannot use it. They are the ones deciding the grant and not authors of this website. Your layover is over 72 hours, so unless you get a visa, you will be prevented from boarding.
