jilin icerime festival

Question

Do you know when the festival begins this year? I will be going there for the weekend of December 23-25 and was hoping there will be festivities going on for those days. Last year I went to Harbin for the Snow Festival at the same time in December and, although some sculptures weren't finished, you could still go in and check them out. I am hoping it's the same situation here. Thanks.

Dear Frank. How lucky you are! The Rime Ice and Snow Festival will officially open on Dec. 18. Therefore, you can actually enjoy all activities during Dec. 23-25. Have fun!
