Multiple-entry tourist visa

Hello,
I am Belgian but they told me at the 'visa for China' center of Brussels that they do not grant multiple-entry type (6 months or 1 year) for tourists in that center. Is there any other way I can obtain a multiple-entry one (1 year) as a tourist?
Thank you

If you don't have an eligible passport (US, Canadian, Israeli or British) then it's generally difficult to get one, but you may have some luck if you apply through a reliable travel agent.

Thanks for the info. What do you mean with applying through a reliable travel agent? Should I obtain it through the travel agency or book my trip there and then apply to the application center? Do you have any suggestion of such travel agent? Thank you

You should ask travel agents to see if any of them can get you a multiple entry L type. If they all say it's impossible, then it's impossible. If they are confident, then submit all your application materials to the travel agent and they will take care of it. Chances are you may still get a single-entry L type though since the multiple-entry L type is a part of visa agreements with other countries.
