About:China Business Visa

Can I own and run a business in China with a Chinese business partner on M visa?

I am currently in china and want to purchase half of a business owned by an honest Chinese businesswoman. I want to live and operate as an owner of the business and trade to make money with the business. I would own 50% of the business legally...is this acceptable practice on a business m type?

I’m afraid you cannot do that on a business M type. You may need to apply for a work Z type for China to do that. You can contact with the embassy if China to inquire about that.
