About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Meeting in Shanghai

I am flying from Latvia to Shanghai just for one meeting (will stay less than 24 hours). Do i need to apply for visa, since its not transit, the flights are Riga - Shanghai - Riga.

Yes you need a visa in advance as you´re not in transit.
