May I know if you refer to Guangzhou City instead of Guangdong? If so, your tour to the site you mentioned is feasible. Go to Guangzhou South Railway Station, where there are high speed trains to Shenzhen and it only takes around half an hour. Upon arriving, take subway Longhua Line (line 4) to Convention & Exhibition Center, and transfer to Shekou Line (line 2), along which you need to get off at OCT Station. For the return trip, you can use the same route.
