Baggage HKIA to SkyPier

Coming with SAS Airline and going to the ferry to Guangzhou. How does it work with the baggage? I don't want to immigrate to HK. I think that I have to catch up my bagge first and then go Skypier. But normally the baggage claim is beyond the immigration. Does anyone know how that works?

Oh, for your case, it is no need to go through the immigration. After landing, directly go to the Transfer Area E2, where you can find the ticket counter. Buy the ferry ticket and present your baggage tap receipt. Then they will handle the luggage for you and you don't need to collect on your own. Scan your ticket and check your luggage status at the boarding entrance. Take AMP to Skypier to catch the ferry.

Yes!That was the way it worked. Appreciated your detailed description very much, Gloria. Great help.
Although a lot of people queded up we don't needed to wait that long. There were only a few passengers on the ferry to GZ. A lot of free seats were available.
That's all organised very well.
