Are there restrictions on doctor prescribed medication?Do I need to bring a letter from my doctor?

Yes, that will be necessary to bring the receipt. The amount of medication should be within self-use amount.

Hi Jeff - we will only stay in Beijing for 3 days, then continuing the holiday for a month in Europe - so I'd like to bring sufficient to last me for the whole trip. Thus I need to bring it in to China, but also take it with me out again. I read some previous comments of only being allowed 7 days worth of prescription medication...

I heard there is no specific amount limit. Reasonable and self-use amount is ok. But a letter or prescription fro doctor is best to be taken. Don't take too many medications that can be misunderstood for selling.
