About:Shantou Transportation

I'll take the high speed train from Shenzhen North to Chaoshan.

Is Chaoshan and Shantou the same place? I am very confused. Upon reaching Chaoshan railway station, is there any recommendation for any hotel? Is there any places that I should not miss?

Well, Chaoshan Railway Station is located at Chao'an District of Chaozhou City. It is different from ST.

You can stay at Dansuao Hotspring Resort at Shaxi Town, Chao'an District. The hotel provides clean environment and nice service. A standard room costs about CNY 500 per night. The reservation hotline is 86-0768-6999999. The hotel is about 4 miles from the railway station. Take a taxi to the hotel for CNY 20 to 30.

The must-see places in Chaozhou are Chaozhou Ancient City, Guangji Gate Tower, and Egrets' Paradise. The places that you should not miss in ST are Nan Ao Island, Queshi Scenic Resort, and Lotus Peak. Have a good day! :)
