Shamin, because your son is 19 years old now, he cannot apply for the S1 type. He can apply for an S2 type which can allow him to stay for a relatively long time in China.

If he apply the S2!!
He can stay only180 days in China.
I hope one year or more.
Otherwise i can prepare some industry training for him.. with company sponsorship
1)Can he apply some another visa for a long team training?
2)if got a S2 !! Can extension?
3) after expired S2(180days)how many days need to West apply again?

Shamin, he may be able to apply for other visa for a long term training, but I cannot assure that. If you have doubts, you can contact with the embassy of China and inquire about relevant information.
If he got an S2 type, he can apply for an extension. He should apply for the extension 7 days earlier before the S2 type expires.
