About:Zhoucheng Village Tie-Dyeing

I am a US citizen I am taking a cruise that ends in Shanghai. Do I need a Chinese visa?

If I stay one day in Shanghai and leave from there back to the US, do I need it?
How about if I decide to go to Beijing for a day after the cruise, do I need it?

If the last country the cruise came from before entering Shanghai is not US, you don’t need it.
You need it and you should apply for it in advance if you want to go to Beijing after the cruise.
