About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Am I correct in thinking that I have to only apply for a single entry Visa into Guangzhou

as this is our intinerary:-
27th March Fly into Baiyun airport from New Zealand on way to Bangkok. Approx 3 hour stopover in airport, won't be leaving the airport facility. However on the 2nd April when we return from Bangkok we arrive in at Baiyun airport around 11pm and have 4 days in Guangzhou. Departing approx. 10pm on the 7th April.
thank you for your assistance

Yes, although sources say that Guangzhou will expand the TWOV time to 144 hours this year, so you may not even need a visa if the policy's in force before your trip.

Thank you so much for replying..It would be fabulous to not have to pay for Visa's as I have to pay for 3. Hopefully by the time I apply in January the 144hour exemption may have come into being :)
