About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

China Eastern: Arrive in PVG at 4:20pm & leave at 11:50 pm for Singapore. 7 hour layover.

Do we have to claim our luggage or are they transferred to our connecting flight? If we have to claim our luggage, are there storage lockers at PVG? Would we have time to go into the city? What would you suggest we see in the evening?
What would be the most economical and fastest way to the city?

Dear Rosemary, you will transfer from International to International, right? You needn't claim your luggage at PVG. Your luggage will be delivered to the final destination.

Yes, you can pay a quick visit to the city. Take maglev train from PVG to Longyang Road Station, and switch to metro line 2 to East Nanjing Road Station. Then, you can see the Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower, Huangpu River, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Remember to return to PVG at least 2 hours prior to departure! Have a good day! :)
