About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi. We are going Auckland-Shanghai-Seoul-Auckland. Will this qualify for the 144hr transit visa?

Would it matter that we are on standby tickets as we are airline staff? Or do we need a confirmed ticket from Shanghai to Seoul?

You need to have CONFIRMED tickets for your flight leaving China. Stand-by ticket is a big no-no.
