About:Visa Policy of China

Cruise ship in Shangai port. Passanger visa requirements for UK and Irish passport holders.

We arrive in Shangai cruise port in March 2017 for one day. Do we need an entry permit?

Maurice, if you will go to a third country or region rather than the last one you come from, you may be able to enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Shanghai, but if you enter and leave by the same cruise ship, you’d better confirm that with the cruise ship company.
