About:Shanghai Public Transportation Card

Is there a difference between the Shanghai Metro 3-day Pass and the Transportation Card?

Hello!
I would like to know if I can use the metro 3-day pass on buses? Also, can I use the Transportation card on the subways?

The 3-day Metro Pass costs CNY 45, and can be used to ride on metro within 72 hours after you swipe it at the entrance gate for the first time. It cannot be used to ride buses.

The transportation card is applicable on buses, metro lines, taxis, etc. You need to pay CNY 20 as the deposit, and add some value to it. It is available at Customer Service Centers, metro stations, Alldays Convenience Stores, etc.
