About:Beijing Winter

My family and I plan to visit Beijing from 13 - 19 January 2017. Is it too cold during that period?

And is it too busy because of the coming Chinese New Year celebration.

According to the previous statistics, the temperature may range from 15 F to 30 F during that period. It will be cold and dry. The possibility of snow would be high. You need to prepare enough winter clothes, such as down jackets, sweaters, long johns, scarves, gloves and pants.
In addition, there won't have crowded people at that time because the Chinese New Year Holiday starts from Jan.27.
