About:Chinese Consulate in Manchester

I am 28 yrs old and British.I maybe about to be offered employment in Hong Kong in January.

Which Visa can I get? Could I visit Hong Kong and apply for a working entry permit out there?

You should apply for a work entry permit for HK. You should apply for it in your home country.

British nationals can enter Hong Kong and stay for 6 months and apply for a work visa at the immigration officer in Hong Kong. You will be given a tourist stamp on entry no need to get tourist visas beforehand
