About:China Visa

Visa requirement for a 10 hour stay in China

We are booked on a cruise which leaves Hong Kong on22nd Jan and docks in Xiamen the next day for 10hours.The ship then leaves for The Philippines.As British passport holders do we need entry permit

Robert, in principle, you can enjoy the 24 hour direct transit in Xiamen and then no entry permit will be required, but because you will enter and exit by the same cruise ship, you’d better confirm that with the cruise ship company.
